Johnny Barber Riding Schools
Through my experiences racing on the professional level, I have learned the do’s and don’ts of training and racing. I provide you with “The FAST Solution” to reaching your goals of being the best rider you can be!
I will provide you with the fundamentals and proper techniques to make you a faster, smarter, and safer rider.
Our training facility is located in Rome GA. It is privately owned with plenty of woods trails, an MX track, and a wide open field with a log crossing section and a start area.
Group Riding Schools
I only train small groups of no more than 10 riders so that everyone gets enough individual attention.
Classes run from 9am-4pm with plenty of breaks. Food and drinks included. We provide a very light and friendly atmosphere, and will answer all of your questions.
Techniques that will be covered and explained:
bike set up
body positioning
braking
rutted turns
flat turns
hills
rocks
log crossing
jumps
whoops
off-chambers
starts
Riders will gain the confidence and knowledge to take with them to practice.
Knowing how and what to practice is the fast track to becoming a safer, faster and better rider.
1-on-1 Riding Schools

Qualifications & Accomplishments
I have been working with and training riders one on one for 5 years and teaching group lessons for 2 years.
I have trained riders (on the bike and in gyms) from 10-60 years old, from beginner to the pro class riders.
