Cody Webb is The Last Dog Standing

Last Dog Standing is considered one of the toughest off-road extreme Enduros in the country and Motorcycle Superstore Bell Helmet’s Cody Webb proved he was the toughest dog in the pack, winning the event for the second year in a row. It’s a crazy event that includes mud bogs, a teeter-totter over water, huge tractor tires, giant concrete culverts and a 15-foot high dive – all included in an 18-mile race loop. By the end of the race, only four riders finished.

Webb, who is the lead dog for the Factory KTM/RPM Racing Team, is considered one of the best off-road racers in the world and his runaway win at this year’s Prairie Dog’s Last Dog Standing (LDS) simply cemented Webb’s reputation. Fresh off his third place finish at the X Games Austin, Webb mentioned he was overdue for a top-step podium finish and the LDS was high on his list for an overall win.

“It felt great to win the Last Dog Standing two years in a row. I came into the race this year more prepared and knew what to expect. I qualified second in the fast qualifier, which was better than last year’s qualifier for me and was on the front row for our first race. I capitalized on mistakes my competition made early in each race and rode virtually error free to win both motos. I was extremely happy with the team, my mechanic, and the KTM. Everything worked flawlessly. Can’t wait ’til next year!”

Webb, who is also the current 2014 GEICO EnduroCross Champion, competes in a variety of extreme off-road events and the AMA US National MotoTrials Series. His next event will be the KLIM CowTag Off-Road Ride where all riders are invited to ride with Webb in Southeast Idaho in the Caribou Targhee National Forest.

“This is a great cause that supports several Trail Advocacy Groups,” explained Webb. “And by entering, you will also have a chance to win my KTM SuperEnduro race bike.”
