RPM Racing Team Shines in Poland

FMF/RPM/KTM Racing Team Maxxis had a strong showing at the opening round of the FIM SuperEnduro Championship in Gdansk, Poland, this past Saturday, December 6th with Ty Tremaine taking the win in the Junior class and Cody Webb earning the 3rd spot on the podium in the Prestige class.

19-year-old Tremaine came into the FIM SuperEnduro series fresh off of earning the Junior title at the 2014 AMA Geico EnduroCross Championship. He posted the fastest time in Junior practice in Gdansk and then dominated the three heat races going 1-1-1.

“The track was tight and there was a lot of carnage” said Tremaine “I just rode safe, smart, and tried not to make mistakes. I was able to come out on top”

RPM Racing Team also sent the newly crowned AMA Geico EnduroCross Champion Cody Webb to race the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Poland. Webb had only a few days on the team and the 2015 KTM 300 XC’s. He was competitive all day posting the 3rd fastest time in practice. In the first heat he led the majority of the race, but went down on the last lap doubling the logs. He remounted and finished in 3rd. The second heat had a reverse start. Cody started on the back row and finished 7th. In the third and final heat he rode strong and charged up to 4th place to earn the final spot on the podium.

“I had a rough night, but I am happy to get on the podium and get the points. The bike was awesome tonight. We just need to go back and make a few tweaks. I am looking forward to the next round in Germany and the rest of the series ” said Webb

FIM SuperEnduro Championship will has rounds in Poland, Germany, Finland, Brazil, Mexico and France and will run from December 2014 to March 2015. The next event is in Dresden, Germany, January 3rd.
